March Update

With many of you seeing Daffodils already in bloom around the area and in your own Gardens I have been receiving a lot of enquires about the dates for The Open days and daffodil Walks.

Will there still  be much to see?  I hear you ask.

Indeed, due to the unusually high temperatures we’ve been experiencing  the Daffodils here at the farm are currently approximately 2 weeks earlier than average. But don’t worry, in  the main field with the  impact,  the Daffs are only just coming through.  Having said that there appears to an abundance of buds on the early varieties with flowers lasting extremely well due to large moisture in the plants.      So what we are expecting  is that come the Open dates you will see the mid to late flowering varieties, which includes a lot of the whites and unusual. Looks like being a bumper crop!!!

Im taking bookings now for Guided Tours, 10.30am daily, £5.00 includes refreshments.  *Also if you are a group of 6 or more Len will be happy to take your group at 2pm ( We don’t schedule this in every day as we feel the Old Codger needs some time off now he’s knocking on a bit!!! ;-), again call me if you’d like to arrange this.
