Daffodil Walks for 2019

Walks this year will be daily from 27th March to 7th April inclusive, with tours each day at 10:30am, and walks at any time from 10am – 3pm. For more details see the booking page

An update on the daffodils – the growth seems to be inline with the last few years, with Rijnvelds Early Sensation in flower now, and Magnificence and Ice Follies will be out in early March.

Six thousand new bulbs planted for everyone to enjoy, even if the season begins early we have varieties that flower from December until mid May, so always lots to see.

There are about six hundred different varieties including rare specimens going back to when Adam was a lad, and also hundreds of unnamed seedlings bred by the Old Chap!

New Planting

I’ve just finished planting up around 6,000 more bulbs for our visitors to enjoy, so these should add more colour and variety in the years to come. Get your planting done while it’s still nice enough out!

The fairies are still very active due to the recent mild weather, but with a cold snap on the way they’ll soon be hibernating, ready to be refreshed for the spring.
